With the release of Brawl just around the corner, we decided to throw together a fantasy list of characters we would love to be included as playable characters! We decided to narrow our list to original video game characters only, so don’t expect Darth Vader or Spider-man here. Also, we aren’t very interested with legal mumbo jumbo, so don’t expect any of that either. Just take a moment and enjoy!

Using the VectorMagic site, a very wise man named Philipp Lenssen took images for some old school video games and vectorized them! Great idea, and some very nice results!

I think most boys growing up doodle spaceships at one point or another, and these guys have given it life.  Sketchfighter 4000 Alpha is a completely hand-drawn arcade game from Ambrosia and Lost Minds.  Got to the site to see it in action.  [Source= 30gms]

More than spaceships, my obsession as a kid was what we called Tommy Torture Chambers.  It was basically a drawing of a huge environment that this stick man would navigate through, filled with traps and horrible misfortunes.  An example would be straddling a razor blade slide that dumped the poor fella into the infamous Vat ‘o’ Piss.  Hey, this was middle school people!  Don’t judge me.

I still have one from the old days… I’ll try to track it down and scan it for your viewing pleasure.

I purchased a Wii recently and making Miis is tons of fun.  Today I went to MiiPlaza.net to see what some other folks have been creating.  I nearly shat a brick when I came across these beauties.  If you haven’t gathered, the left is Space Invaders and the right is Duck Hunt! Keep in mind, these were created using a relatively short list of facial features only.  These are brilliant and there are many more to see!

MiiPlaza.net is a fantastic way to not only see a ton of great Miis, it is also a great way to make Wii friends.
