It must be nice to have your own style that sets you completely apart from your competition. Humphreys’ illustrations are so unique… Take a look at his portfolio.

Also you can buy buttons featuring his art on Prickie.com:

You have no idea how difficult it has been being a closet heterosexual.

‘Gullible’ isn’t in the dictionary and you can confirm that by looking it up.

This is photographer Diego Goldberg and his wife Suzy in 1976. The picture below is their family 5 years later in 1981.

Quite a difference, huh? The Goldberg family had the tremendous idea of taking a headshot of each family member every year so that they could look back on the progression of time. This is one of those great ideas that people often have and rarely stick with, but this family has stuck with it for 30 years with no signs of stopping.
This is something I really want to try to do myself, but I’ll probably forget about it by next year.
I’ve only shown a couple of the years here to give you a basic overview, so be sure to click the link below to check out one man’s photographic testament to the growth of his family.

The Sci-Fi Channel is apparently launching an animated series featuring Mike Mignola’s creation. There is a 20 minute preview on their site, and I must say, the animation is really close to Mignola’s art… it would suck if it wasn’t. The icing on the cake are the voice talents of Paul Giamatti, David Hyde Peirce and Molly Shannon.

Last year, The Rebar Group were responsible for this installation known as the PARK(ing) project. San Francisco greenthumb-artist-activists rolled out sod in a metered parking space sending a powerful message. It seems there is an all call to do it again:
Computers in the future may have only 1,000 vacuum tubes and perhaps only weigh 1 1/2 tons.

It is rare to find cool street art in Tallahassee… but I saw this the other day and thought it was worth sharing.
